Family Arts & Science Festival - September 9
On Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm, Five River Arts Alliance will present its 16th annual FREE Family Arts Festival on the Brunswick Mall. For the first time, the Five Rivers will join forces with Cornerstones of Science to energize the Festival and celebrate the merging flow of imagination and knowledge. The Festival will feature artists offering workshops and demonstrations related to the appreciation and concern for nature and the stars. Workshops will celebrate the intermingling of creative thought with academic roots. Drawing, painting, and crafting will reflect imagination of scientific principles. Navigating Alaskan Waters: Natives, Science, and Politics - September 20
