Greetings!
Happy Holidays from Imagine Greater Tucson!
As part of our continuing commitment to keep you informed about Imagine Greater Tucson (IGT), we are sending update bulletins for the duration of the process. For more information, please stop by our website at ImagineGreaterTucson.org, and while you're there, please take the survey, sign up to host or attend a Community Conversation, volunteer to get involved in the process or just find out more about us. For more frequent updates, and to share your thoughts about our region, you can follow IGT on Facebook. We look forward to hearing from you.
Winter is upon us and as the Old Pueblo cools and at long last shakes off the final vestiges of its summer somnolence, Imagine Greater Tucson continues to heat up. Almost three months have passed since our kick-off and IGT is generating a great deal of buzz around our community. Be it through the Community Conversations, our presence at a variety of local events and festivals, articles, banners and print media around town and/or our updated website; our visibility has never been greater. This is reflected in the large (and always growing) number of residents we have interacted with in the past several weeks and can be seen every day in the high spirits of IGT volunteers, partners and staff.

| Phase I - Community Conversations |
Looking ahead to the coming months, we will continue to engage local organizations, businesses, neighborhoods and other groups to set-up on-site conversations (known as Conversations-in-a-Bag). If you are interested in setting up a Conversation-in-a-Bag for you and your associates, co-workers, neighbors, or friends please contact us and we will be happy to arrange for a conversation with you. We have also scheduled a number of public Community Conversations across the region. Be on the lookout for one in your area! Finally, if you are attending one of our region's wonderful events or festivals and see an IGT booth, come say hi, we'd love to see you.

We are very excited to announce that we will be working with Fregonese Associates in developing Phase II of the IGT process. Fregonese Associates, with their suite of urban and regional planning tools known as Envision Tomorrow, is an industry leader in developing alternative future scenarios in regional visioning efforts. They have over 12 years of experience in the field and have lent their expertise to regional projects such as Envision Utah, Chicago Metropolitan 2020, and the Metro 2040 Growth Concept for Portland, Oregon. We look forward to having them in Eastern Pima County, and should benefit greatly from their knowledge and vast experience. You can find out more about Fregonese Associates or watch a video clip of a community mapping workshop by following the links.
A meet and greet session with John Fregonese and his team was held on Friday, December 3 at Hotel Arizona. Thank you to the 58 IGT supporters who were in attendance. |

Thank you very much to everyone who has taken the time to volunteer, partner with, or otherwise support IGT. Without all of your hard work, dedication, and creative energy this process wouldn't be possible. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer with IGT please contact us or sign-up at ImagineGreaterTucson.org.
