Choosing the right battery and charger combination will have a great impact on your bottom line. The right type of battery combined with the appropriate charger for your operation will ensure maximum productivity and battery life, which equates to a more profitable material handling operation. Conversely, selecting the wrong battery and charger could result in a dramatic reduction in battery life and significant cost increases.

Hidden Dangers That Reduce Forklift Capacity
Your warehouse or factory moves quickly, and things can become dangerous very quickly. There are obvious things that can reduce the ability of your lift trucks to safely lift products, such as: - Adding or changing forklift attachments
- Changing your Load Center (LC) or adding fork extensions
- Changing your types of forks
There are other things you want to keep in mind that can create a very dangerous situation with regards to capacity. These include: - Worn forks or chains (a 10% wear in your forks reduces the capacity by 20%!)
- Changing tire types or sizes (your lift truck is rated using factory OEM tires. Even a small change in types or sizes of tires can affect safe lifting capacity)
- Handling odd-shaped loads (if palletized materials are oddly shaped or you are lifting products with uneven weight distribution, be sure the heaviest part of the load is closest to the backrest.)
