Making It Better's Young Professionals (MIBYP) is chaired by MIB Board Member Ilene Duwaji and JaNae Lyon. This group will be comprised of a diverse group of young professionals (ages 21-40) who represent various industries and professions throughout the Houston area. Through volunteer activities, community service and professional development MIBYPs will work to improve the quality of life for at-risk children and their families in our Houston communities.

I encourage all young professionals to commit to being a part of MIBYP by sharing your time and talents to make life better for others in 2012. Whether you can give one hour or five hours of your time each month, I ask that you make the choice to give just a little of your most precious asset, your time, to this organization. If you have to think twice about it, ask yourself: If not me, then who? If not now, then when?
