Last Chance for 2011 Donations
We're busy processing the generous donations that have been arriving in the mail in response to the end of year letters sent out by our Chairman, ADM Bruce DeMars, USN (Ret.), and our President, VADM Robert F. Dunn, USN (Ret.). For those of you who have not had the chance to respond, there are still a little more than 2 days to make a 2011 tax deductible donation to help support the NHF mission. Please click on the GiveDirect button below to make your online donation. And as an end of year bonus, we'll throw in a 2012 "The Navy" calendar to those who make a donation of $50 or more by this Saturday, 31 December.
We're also always on the lookout for used books on naval and military history. We recently began selling these used books in the Museum Store at the Washington Navy Yard, and the books seem to fly off the shelves. We're always looking for new donations - and keep in mind that used book donations are tax deductible. Please stop by the Museum Store or call them at 202-889-2212 to arrange your used book donations.

2012 "The Navy" Calendars Now On Sale!
The 2012 Naval Historical Foundation "The Navy" calendar is now available for purchase. It features artwork covering 237 years of Navy and Marines Corps action. The calendar is a tribute to the men and women who have fought to protect our nation, to deter aggression, and to maintain freedom of the seas. It also lists significant events in naval history each month.
Your 2012 calendar can be purchased in person at the Museum Store at the National Museum of the United States Navy, in Washington, DC, or by calling the Museum Store at 202-889-2212. We are now offering the calendar at a discounted price, please contact us for pricing information. As always, sales help to support the Naval Historical Foundation and our mission of preservation, education, and commemoration of naval history.
