Owner Testimonials
Rivera Cuale Owners, Just Married in PV!
Over the past several months, we have asked our owners to share their feedback on what factors went into their decision to settle in Puerto Vallarta and buy a new home at Rivera Cuale. Consistently we heard common threads in their responses. As you yourself may be considering becoming an owner, we thought you would be interested in hearing what our owners had to say.
1. Why they fell in love with Puerto Vallarta and wanted to live here:
Everyone mentioned the friendly local people, and how welcome new residents were made to feel in Puerto Vallarta. This is so true of our town. If you shop in a little local 'tienda' more than once, you are made to feel like an old familiar friend.
Of course climate and lower cost of living were often given as deciding factors in making Puerto Vallarta their choice of residence in Mexico, as well as the rich culture, cuisine and wealth of activities...basically, the outstanding LIFESTYLE.
2. Why they chose Rivera Cuale, as opposed to other options in the area:
Of major importance to our owners is the quality of construction, materials and finishes used in Rivera Cuale, which is well above the standard.
Many mentioned price per square foot as an important factor.
Owners say they have the best of both worlds: all modern state of the art equipment and amenities, yet with traditional Vallarta architecture and design, so they feel they are truly in Mexico.
Thanks to our building facing due west, we are privileged to enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening, as well as town, river, mountain, and ocean views.

Medical Tourism in Mexico
Healthcare is a major concern to the growing baby boomer population, and especially for those considering a move to Mexico. A few months ago we wrote about healthcare in Puerto Vallarta. Well, just recently we saw an article published about medical tourism in Mexico and wanted to share it with you, because it mirrors much of what we were saying! Although this article does not specifically mention Puerto Vallarta, rest assured that healthcare here is very accessible and high quality!

Rivera Cuale-PEACE Community Garden
Once again Rivera Cuale is joining with PEACE in a community effort, and this time, to create a riverside community garden on the grounds of Rivera Cuale! The garden will be in a separate area of the property, just outside the condominium area and entrance plaza. The purpose of the garden is to serve as an educational space where groups of school kids come to learn about sustainable food growth, composting and nutrition, and to inspire environmental awareness and community building in the youth of Puerto Vallarta.
This will be the first garden of its kind in Puerto Vallarta and we are excited to be making it happen along with PEACE. The garden space has already been planned out and all we need to do to get started is find some shovels and volunteers to turn the soil! If you'd be interested in helping to get this very worthwhile project off the ground, please email Leanne Smith at leanne@riveracuale.com.

Piņata Party December 18th
This year we once again threw a Piņata Party for the neighborhood kids. On December 18th about 40 kids appeared at Rivera Cuale, and we were excited to see that many of them remembered to bring recyclable materials from home, such as plastic pop bottles and newspapers, to use to make their piņatas! Seņora Hortencia, who has a piņata shop near Rivera Cuale on calle Aquiles Serdan, taught the workshop.
After a few hours of enjoying refreshments, running around with friends, laughing and making piņatas, the kids took turns trying to smash open a piņata that Seņora Hortencia had brought to get to the candy inside. As soon as it broke it was a mad scramble for all the sweets on the ground! And then, as quickly as they had arrived, the kids were gone, running off home, their new colorful piņatas streaming alongside them.
