76 Million Peso Enhancement
An agreement has been signed between the State and Federal Departments of Tourism that will entitle Puerto Vallarta to a massive $76 Million Pesos to improve the historic downtown center. Plans include finishing the Cuale Flea Market façade, street sign installations, an art museum, and more. Of particular interest to many of you who have been asking for an update, the plans also include the building of a new pedestrian bridge over the Cuale River to link Gringo Gulch with the Isla Cuale!
Rivera Cuale has always been active in improvement efforts in the downtown area, including communicating with the City on the new bridge, and endeavors to stay involved. |

The beaches are dotted with palapas and the welcoming sounds of music and laughter. Don't you wish you could be here? We wish you could be too!

We have a bunch of exciting announcements to make, so read on! |

Rivera Cuale Virtual Walking Tour
by Estelle Eisen, Rivera Cuale
Working at Rivera Cuale, we are often asked where specific places and services are located. Since we are in town with no hills around us, walking is a pleasant stroll. For this reason, I have created a guide to help you navigate your way around, both virtually and for a real walking tour, of our fun packed neighborhood.
Rivera Cuale Condominiums sit at the juncture of four colonias (neighborhood areas). Literally one block in any direction takes you into a different colonia. El Caloso behind us is a very typical Mexican neighborhood; Gringo Gulch is on the north side, which Elizabeth Taylor made famous; south is Las Canoas, which follows the river over to the tunnel road bypass and beyond to Paso Ancho, a rustic village with a nice walking trail; and due west across the river is Colonia Emiliano Zapata, which rolls on to Old Town and Los Muertos Beach.
The Google Earth map I've created will introduce you to our neighborhood.
