| Bluebird Basics and Beyond...
If you are new to the art of quilting we offer a wide variety of basic quilting and sewing classes for the fledgling quilt artists.
Our Beginning Quilting Class is a great place to start.
Even if you have made a quilt or two, you might benefit from a review of the basics of fabric selection, rotary cutting techniques or precise piecing tips. Our instructors are encouraging and will help you master the basics of this wonderful art form.
Finishing Your Quilt is a class to overcome the hurdle from quilt top to finished quilt.
If you need a boost finishing your top, this class will assist you with batting selection, preparing the quilt sandwich, selecting and marking your quilting design, and basic quilting and binding techniques. We also offer Machine Quilting and Long Arm Quilting Classes to get you flying through your quilt tops.

Every quilter knows that quilters are the most nurturing, supportive, uplifting people. BQS is a buzz with quilters that are supporting each other with a healthier, more active lifestyle. Bluebird Quilt Studio is sponsoring a team at the Women's Fitness Celebration September 25, 2010 in Boise Idaho. Following the race, all participants in the race are invited back to the studio for a complimentary celebratory quilt project. Changes to Customer Reward Program
We regret to inform you that do to recent increases in fabric prices (and past increases in shipping prices), and in an effort to keep fabric prices low in our studio our customer rewards program will be discontinued September 1, 2010. Of course, up to that time we will continue to accumulate yardage and will honor all previously issued gift cards processed after the September deadline.
We appreciate your business and realize you have many choices in shopping for quilting supplies, notions and classes. We hope at some point in the future to re institute our rewards card program, however at this time under the current economic conditions we can no longer offer this program. Thank you for understanding and choosing BQS as your quilting home.
