12:00 pm - 1:15 pm    Ramp Up Your Resume for Today's Market

Sorry to say... upon receiving a resume, employers will not call and offer you a job! They might, however, invite you in for an INTERVIEW!  That's your goal!  Your resume opens the door.  It is the carrot you dangle to get noticed and create initial interest in your candidacy!  Make sure it is ready to impress and make you memorable!

The process of reviewing and ramping up your resume will allow you to relive the projects you worked on, the group/s you managed and the accomplishments about which you are most proud.  Many resumes are watered down versions of what they should/could be.  Allow yourself the time and attention to indulge your history, to relish what you have done and to come out the other side with not only a strong resume as your marketing collateral, but an opportunity to have thought through your successes, and feel empowered to confidently discuss and demonstrate your talents!

Once enrolled in this workshop, you will receive a packet to provide an overview of what will be covered. This will be an opportunity to take your resume to the next level! **This workshop is a prerequisite to a one-on-one session with our Career Counselor.
