Dear Friends and Supporters,

Have you ever witnessed how a dog can change a person's life?  According to Dr. Edward Creagan, Oncologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, "A pet is a medication without side effects that has so many benefits. I can't always explain it myself, but for years now I've seen how instances of having a pet is like an effective drug. It really does help people."  The Austin Dog Alliance believes the human-animal bond positively impacts individuals, and enhances the quality of life for our families and our communities.

As a nonprofit organization, the success of Austin Dog Alliance depends on contributions from our community.  Despite the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, the majority of our programs do not generate the income necessary to cover our expenses.  Each program requires trained professionals,  support staff, supplies, certified and healthy pet therapy dogs, and a well-maintained facility.  Be a part of our success - help us make a difference by making a donation today.

Austin Dog Alliance has been serving the central Texas community since 2006 through hospital and nursing home visits, reading dog programs, and educational outreach programs that enhance the self-esteem of our children.  Some of our  accomplishments over the past 12 months include:

Despite how far we've come in a short amount of time, the interest in our programs far exceeds our available resources.  Your support will enable us to continue our current programs, and expand to address the ever-increasing demand.  If you've ever thought about helping an organization like ours, now is the time.  Please support the Austin Dog Alliance programs with your tax-deductible, year-end contribution today!

On behalf of our board, our trainers and volunteers, we thank you for considering our request.
