No question:  Evolving was devolving around this time last week.  Time for a new plan. 

 

Not his LBJ moment, but the new plan would do: President Obama expressed his personal support for gay marriage.

 

My later in the week, Mother's Day weekend Huffington Post piece:  "Like Hope, Evolving Is Not a Strategy," discusses the President's shotgun marriage vow. In my take, I tell the story of my gay brother's, he-had-to-wait 25-years-to-marry marriage, at which my mother (and father) were his witnesses. I hope you'll read it.
