Recently, several clients undertook some innovative strategic planning, in order to build and strengthen their organizations.
They expanded their influence among institutions that matter to women and girls, deepened their relationships with people whose decisions change women's and girls lives, heightened the personal visibilty of senior executives as agents of change benefiting women and girls, and developed new organizational programs.
Here are two really important reasons to undertake this effort now:
An almost-bankrupt State of Illinois means that policies benefiting women and girls, and the dollars needed to implement them, will be that much harder to come by. In this context, being visible and vocal will matter more than ever.
The upcoming change in Chicago mayor will affect every woman-owned business, woman-run organization, woman philanthropist, and women's issues activist. Being visible and vocal here will matter more than ever, too.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we have much to be thankful for, starting with knowing each other and sharing our commitment to making a better world for the women and girls around us. I look forward to the opportunity to work together on your campaign to do just that.
Sincerely,
