Greetings!

"My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there."
Charles Kettering

Cool quote that caused me to stop and think about it for a few minutes.  Why? Because as profoundly true as the statement is, embracing it as a way of living is extremely challenging.

All four of the internal road blocks that most executives struggle with are rooted in the past:

Inner Critics : those old tapes from the past that fill us with doubt, insecurity, and a deeply personal sense of somehow not being credible
Assumptions:  the belief that if something happened in the past it will most assuredly happen again
Interpretations: forging a belief based not on fact, but on biased experiential perspective
Limiting Beliefs:  wrapping old, out-dated thinking around current situations

Consider this:
Your resume is the obituary of who you used to be.
In today's highly competitive job market, we often have a difficult time transitioning the talk track from 'what I did in my past' to 'what I can solve for you TODAY'.

Focusing on the future requires a re-programming of sorts.  It requires ways of thinking, acting, and being that are different from what was required of you in the past.
What got you here, may not necessarily get you THERE.

Quality, professional executive coaching is designed to shift your focus....taking your inner goals/desires and moving them into a future oriented action state.  A good coach opens clients up to the possibilities in their future while shedding light on obstacles that are getting in the way.

If you've never experienced being professionally coached, I encourage you to invest an hour of your time.  The outer investments (the right clothes, the right car, the latest technology gadgets) are only part of the success equation -  take some time and energy to research an investment in SELF that taps into the power that lies within you.

It's the future you will be spending the rest of your life in.

Looking forward to our next time,
