Quote of the Week

"You told me yesterday that you were 81."

 - The punch line of the Jared Haugh joke while tail twisting. If you missed it, it was one of those jokes that makes you laugh and cringe at the same time. Nice work, Jared!

One of our own, Eric Thomas, will take to the podium to discuss the topic of social media. Perhaps you have heard about Face Book, Twitter and others but don't know what they mean or what they are. Eric will solve the mystery for you Friday! In addition, rumor has it Jeff Dorsey will be in tow to deliver The News. And, if that isn't enough, the pot should be near or over $1,500 this week so leave your worries at your worksite or home and join us for a good time at Quincy's Finest Hour!

This & That

Jim Benz with the good prayer and Sonny Christner leading the pledge... Another nice crowd on hand... Jared Haugh telling us that 18 men have signed up for golf on 6/22 but there is room for more. See him if you are interested... John Johannes doing well after an emergency appendectomy last week. We wish him well as he continues his recovery... Look for President Steve Green to update the group this Friday on any board action from the meeting this past Monday... A ton of birthdays and anniversaries within the next week - and even more the week after... President Steve had the winning ticket last week but picked the wrong card (four of spades) so the pot grows... The end of the fiscal year is near and members who still owe dues are respectfully asked to bring their balance current... Just over three weeks until the Perry Terwelp administration and still, no cell phone... Perry invites all Exchangite to his budget planning meeting on Monday, June 18th - Noon at The Pier... Nice turn out for the Flag Day Picnic and band concert. The flags were almost a no show but Dave Poland coming through in the clutch... Still looking for an Exchangite Editor... That's all for now, 'til next time, may God's love, grace, and peace be with you and the ones you love.
