 Featured Product: Blue2CANfor Nikon
Have you ever looked through your pictures only to find one
and wonder where and when it was taken? With consumer geo-tagging technologies becoming
mainstream, you won't have to wonder much longer. Take Red Hen's Blue2CAN for
Nikon for example. It is the quickest way to geo-tag high-resolution still
imagery with a Nikon DSLR camera. You simply plug the postage-stamp sized
device into the 10 pin connector on your Nikon and turn on a compatible
wireless Bluetooth GPS receiver (we suggest the GlobalSat BT-368 SiRF III).
Within seconds you have a GPS signal and can instantaneously geo-tag your
pictures each time you snap a shot. GPS location is embedded into the metadata
of each image. Using a variety of software from Google Earth to the Red Hen
MediaMapper Server, you can easily determine the location and time of your
photos within the context of a map.
To learn more about why Blue2CAN stands out from other geo-tagging solutions, click here and learn more at our website: www.redhensystems.com.
Blue2CAN plus GlobalSat GPS Receiver is only $295.00

Geo-tagged photos become useful data during major
construction projects.

We here at Red Hen Systems would like to give a refresher on FalconView so our new plug-in that we're introducing makes sense.
FalconView is a mapping system created by the Georgia Tech Research Institute for the Windows family of operating systems. It displays various types of maps and geographically referenced overlays. Many types of maps are supported, but the primary ones of interest to most users are aeronautical charts, satellite images and elevation maps. FalconView also supports a large number of overlay types that can be displayed over any map background. The current overlay set is targeted toward military mission planning users and is oriented towards aviators and aviation support personnel.
