The energy industry has been rocked recently by a string of storage tank fires. This month's bulletin contains a personal message about the recent tragedy and lessons learned from Jeremy Goddard, the North America Risk Practice's Partner and Manager of Technical and Quality Control. Practical Lessons  Bulletin Two significant storage tank fires occured in Europe the week of May 30, 2011. Tragically, four people died and a fifth was left in critical condition. These fires were only two of ten such fires that have occured in the last three months and have left a string of costly damages and fatalities in their wake.

 SEMS Update ERM recently issued a Client Alert about SEMS and outer continental shelf operations. Information about SEMS and how the ERM compliance program can help your organization is available for download here.
