NLRB POSTING REQUIREMENT
TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
NO NEW DEADLINE ON THE HORIZON
On April 17, 2012 the NLRB announced that it will be suspending the implementation of its recent Rule requiring employers to post an extensive list of employee rights under the NLRA. This rule which would apply if implemented, to union and non-union members alike, has been temporarily suspended in response to conflicting Federal Court decisions on the issue concerning the Board's authority to implement such a directive.
The NLRB has expressly stated that there is no new deadline in place for the Rule's implementation but has indicated that it will not implement the Rule until "the legal issues are resolved."
