Child Find Alberta is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Extreme Downhill Mountain Bike Race, Freeriders for Child Find Alberta, on June 26th, 2010 at the exhilarating T-Dub trail on Moose Mountain, Kananaskis. This fast paced event will be an amazing chance to support and raise funds for Child Find Alberta; come watch the races and wild tricks, and have a lot of outdoor family-friendly fun. Helping Child Find Alberta plan this event are experts Chance Hirsch, Reg Mullett, Loyal Ratte, ADHRA, Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society, along with other great sponsors. The funds raised will be used to help CFA perform and run the important programs provided to the general public free of charge. The day will consist of intense downhill bike races, as well as many outdoor vendors, a BBQ, music, raffles, and free fingerprinting services. We look forward to seeing you there.

Rider Check-in: 8:30am - 10:00am
Rider Practice Runs: 9:00am - 12:00pm
BBQ, drinks, music, and All About Me ID Clinic: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Races Start Time: 1:00pm

| May 2010 ... a successful month! |
 May 2010 was a very busy month, we successfully completed 9 events. The weather was not very cooperative reaching near record lows! This could quite possibly be why our numbers were so low at the events. It seemed when our events were outside, the weather was cold, however when the events were inside things picked up. We started out with the Forzani's Mother's Day Run & Walk, up to Leduc for their Baby Expo, out to Airdrie then onto the Airport - Canada Customs; we motored out to Strathmore and to Chestermere to train our partners over at Parent Link Centre. From there, out to Sundre and up North to Edmonton for their Safety Fair and capped off the month with the Children's Festival down on Stephen's Avenue.
The number of fingerprints seem to be low, only 319 children printed. For the month of June we have already done 373 prints and have another 3 events to go before the end of the month. In July we have 16 camps registered on weekdays for education and fingerprinting so our numbers will go up significantly, we'll keep you updated!
