Gather at the Rally Point.
Prepare for War.

The chaos of war creates many problems for the army as a unit, as well as the individual soldier. Friends are lost. Some are wounded or go missing. The group can get scattered. Bullets are flying, bombs exploding. The enemy is trying to kill you. You are trying to complete a mission in this impossible situation. They should call it "Christianity".

Before going into battle, a specific gathering place is picked as a "Rally Point". The troops know to go there to REASSEMBLE & REORGANIZE in the scattering of battle.

Jesus appointed a rally point for the disciples after the resurrection. They didn't hear Him though, because they refused to believe Him, bragging that they would never fall away and be scattered.

31 Then Jesus said to them, "You will all fall away because of Me this night, for it is written, 'I WILL STRIKE DOWN THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK SHALL BE SCATTERED.'
32 "But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee."
                                                                               (Matthew 26:31,32)

The disciples were supposed to rally in Galilee after the resurrection. This would be away from the turmoil that Jesus knew would surround His crucifixion. Instead they locked themselves in a room for fear of the Jews, and wept and mourned His death!

Today, the Lord is calling the church to meet Him at the rally point. Jesus of course is our rally point. We can always go to Him to find rest. But this is a special season. The church has been hurt, wounded, and scattered. Some have gone AWOL & back-slidden. He is gathering us for a new counter-attack to advance the Kingdom of God!

The first thing we must do is catch our breath. It's the time of Psalms 23, and Matthew 11:28-30. Then, regain your fire for the Lord. But remember,
You must regain your PEACE, before you can re-light your PASSION.

Pull away if possible from all unnecessary turmoil.

Listen to what the Lord is saying, not what you want to hear.

Regroup & find your first love for Him again.

Rediscover the Peace that comes from righteousness
     with Him.

Then stir up the Fiery Passion you have to serve.

His orders will be coming soon!
