The Office for Resource Efficiency (ORE) is a non-profit organization focused on bringing energy efficiency and renewable energy to the Gunnison Valley. ORE's Energy Wise Business Program certifies businesses as they make energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. ORE staff Andris Zobs and Maya Silver will give an overview of the Energy Wise Business Program, the "CROP" (Calculate - Reduce - Offset - Produce) framework it's based on and what it takes to become enrolled. ORE will also speak briefly about the Energy Smart Loan Program.

The Gunnison County Electric Association (GCEA) is a non-profit, member-owned rural electric cooperative. GCEA recently received funding from the USDA Rural Development Program to offer businesses in its service area commercial grade audits, which make the business eligible for USDA Rural Development funding. GCEA Energy Use and Communications Specialist Vicki Spencer will speak about this program, give a description of the audit and tell the businesses how to obtain the audit. GCEA will also speak about its other energy efficiency services available to businesses.
