These past two weeks have provoked many questions about the future of our community-- as a sustainable economy, a tourist vacation destination, and a ski resort.

Our goal at the Chamber, especially at a time like this, is to uphold our mission to encourage economic prosperity by promoting and protecting the business interests of this community. Accordingly, we released a survey to our members and to the community at large to gauge public opinion. We thank those who used this to voice your opinions. The survey results have, thus far, demonstrated a majority (83%) in favor of the proposed Snodgrass expansion going into the NEPA process. While this data will be sourced as one measure of public opinion, the Chamber remains supportive of every business in the community, regardless of their position on this issue. We encourage every member of the community to continue supporting all businesses and to respect opposing opinions and the right to express them.  A self-sustaining local economy is the foundation for community prosperity!
