Idiopathic Canine Vestibular Disease looks alarming and starts suddenly in a healthy appearing dog. Their equilibrium is suddenly lost causing head tilt, falling down and odd rapid eye movements.

Often, the dogs are middle age to older. The symptoms can last up to three weeks. During that time hand feeding and watering is necessary. Lab test are necessary to rule out any underlying causes.
