Keeper stays warm in style during our mild winter.
How a cat moves (or doesn't move) can tell us a lot about what its thinking, and, how well its doing physically and emotionally.
A healthy cat will have a loose supple gait with a tail that has a slow flagging tip. A painful cat will be stiff and lower to the ground, often with a limp tail. Feeling even worse, sick cats may hide under a bed and rarely emerge.
A student of animation sent us the video pictured above. He had used our Cat Walking Video as a reference while making his character. This animation video-- which is the most creative to date of animations made from our video-- can be viewed here on Youtube.
Our Cat Walking Video has been viewed 4,740 times, many by animation students.
Skills dogs should learn for visiting the vet.
A dog that has learned the basic commands of sit, come, and stay greatly helps a vet do a medical examination. In addition, patients who have practiced at home and mastered the skills of lying down on the side and back make clinical visits go smoothly.
Positioning a dog in a practiced and familiar posture helps with exams, taking x-rays, performing diagnostics, and doing treatments. To view the above video showing helpful skills for visiting the veterinarian click here.
