MumsMum season is all but upon us, with cuttings starting to arrive this month. You will need to protect these plants from insects and disease from propagation to finish...and it's a 3 month crop.

Start off on the right foot

Prevent root diseases right from propagation with RootShield®, and reapply when you transplant the cuttings to finished containers.

Control foliar fungal and bacterial diseases with CEASE® and MilStop® sprays. Try the CEASE/MilStop tank mix to find out what other growers are finding for better disease control.

Thrips - No Friend of Mums

Break the pesticide-resistant populations of thrips by adding BotaniGard®Molt-X® and SuffOil-X® to your spray rotation. NemaShield® applications can solve your fungus gnat problems starting at propagation and will aid in thrips control.

Use the full tool kit of BioWorks products to get the kind of insect and disease control you need.
See our Mums/Pansies Disease & Insect Management Program.

Springtime Foliar Disease Control

The sun may come out tomorrow, but bet your bottom dollar you'll need protection from foliar disease until it does!

Greenhouse FlowersAs greenhouses are filled to capacity without enough room to space anything until the shipping starts, Botrytis and Powdery Mildew are just waiting for those drippy high humidity conditions so they can develop on their favorite plants.

CEASE is a great preventative for these diseases as well as bacterial leaf spots. This OMRI Listed product is safe on blooms and for the environment, with only a 4-hour REI. It is also labeled for use on greenhouse vegetables and herbs. CEASE can be tank-mixed with MilStop for added benefit, as many growers have found.

MilStop is a curative product for Powdery Mildew and a great preventative for many other diseases. It is OMRI Listed, has a 1-hour REI, and is environmentally safe. Use MilStop at low rates on open blooms.

Keep your plants disease free. Healthy plants make for happy customers. Happy customers make for healthy profits!
