Early Season Root Protection
Spring Greenhouse & Nursery Crops
We know your goal is to ship out the highest quality spring plants as possible:  more buds, brighter color, uniform height, etc.  To do that you should start treating those delicate roots now.  Early season production is an important time to protect plants to give them a strong start.

As you transplant to finished containers (flats, pots or hanging baskets) RootShield® products guard roots from damping-off and root diseases, enabling them to become strong and healthy.

Cost savings - RootShield's long-lasting protection can save you money too! Most chemical fungicide drenches need a reapplication every 3-4 weeks. One application of RootShield lasts 10-12 weeks and costs just pennies per tray or pot.  Plus, with a 0-hr REI, your labor "down-time" is eliminated.

RootShield WP
Incorporate RootShield Granules into your medium before transplanting, or drench afterwards with RootShield WP.  This new and much improved wettable powder formulation is easier to mix and won't clog equipment!  Both are compatible with other chemical inputs.
Easter Lilies
Easter LillyIt's not too late!
You can treat your lilies now with RootShield WP and protect them for the rest of the season. One application lasts 12 weeks, shielding them from pathogens that cause Pythium, Rhizoctonia, and Fusarium. Just in time for Easter delivery!
Control Powdery Mildew & Botrytis
Watch out for damaging foliar diseases.
BioWorks LogoMilStop® not only cures, but also prevents powdery mildew. One application provides 1 to 2 weeks of residual protection.  Application ranges between 1.25 - 3lbs./100 gal.

BioWorks LogoCEASE® is a microbial fungicide that is a highly effective alternative to chemicals for fungal pathogens such as Botrytis. Application ranges between 4 - 8qts./100 gal.

Both products are OMRI Listed, safe, easy to use and excellent for resistance management.
Vegetable Treatments
Plugs and Transplants
In warmer regions, now is the time to treat your vegetable crops.  One application of RootShield  biological fungicide gives your vegetables 12 weeks of protection. Plus RootShield is cost effective: a 3 pound box of RootShield WP at 4 oz/100 gal. will provide 1200 gallons of drench material, and a 40 lb bag of RootShield Granules will treat 32 cubic yards of media. Re-apply RootShield WP when planting vegetable plugs into the field or stepping up into a larger container.

Insect and Foliar Disease Control
For insect control in both vegetable plug production and in the field, BotaniGard® is highly effective against a wide variety of soft-bodied insects such as whiteflies, thrips, aphids and more. BotaniGard has a low 4-hr REI and is excellent for resistance management.
As humidity increases so does the risk of bacterial infection. CEASE has proven efficacy against both fungal and bacterial pathogens.  CEASE is OMRI Listed, safe for vegetable crops and beneficials, and leaves virtually no residues.
