Greetings!
|
I hope this e-mail finds you doing well, even if the sun is hidden, again. 'Tis the season right? As someone told me last week, if they could figure out a way to harness all that sunshine last week and save it for later, they'd be a billionaire, or dare I say trillionaire.
Regardless, the Bible tells us in Psalms that, "This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." And what a great message for us and for our students. So many things get thrown at us and it is so easy to get down, and to think negatively, and allow anguish to smother us. But if we can embrace this verse, what a great blessing for us, and an encouragement to others who witness our faith lived out. Don't forget about encouraging your students to join us for our worship service, ignite! Last week was a powerful night as we are in the midst of our 'Inception' series. The evening centered around the best idea God could plant within us, that He loves us. I know it sounds basic, but how necessary is it to just have time to hear that, meditate on it, see it and celebrate it! We continue this Sunday with the final message of the series, "Extraction", how our enemy steals the ideas God places in our hearts. Then we move into an incredibly important series, simply called 'HOPE'. Some great news about that series coming soon.
We have some great things coming up for oneeighty and I'm excited to share them with you. Check out the articles below, and, as always, if you have any further questions, please fell free to contact me be replying back to the e-mail or call me at my office, 353-2700. |
