Greetings!
We feature three of our most popular items this week. Trick or Trunk is this Saturday night and we hope to see you all here. We also have a couple of really great events to tell you about. |

Appetizer: Mozzarella alla Caprese This is the perfect appetizer to start off with before you move on to any of our authentic Italian and American entrees. We take fresh ripened sliced tomatoes and top them with imported buffalo mozzeralla, basil and vinaigrette. |

Braised Classic Pork Shank
Our Braised Classic Pork Shank is hand seasoned with Artisan spice rub. It is then oven roasted to perfection and served with a demi-glaze.
We suggest you try a bottle of our Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon with our Pork Shank. This wine is very popular with Pork Entrees and is produced in California. This is a very dark purple wine that opens with a black cherry and plum like bouquet. It is also round, smooth, dry, with juicy blackberry like flavors with hints of sour cherry.
All of our Pork Entrees are served with your choice of two: crisp green salad, baked potato, sweet potato fries, parmesan baby bakers, mashed potatoes, or our vegetable of the day. Pork Entrees are also served with our Homemade Italian Bread with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Parmesan Cheese. |

Homemade Stuffed Pasta Shells
We stuff four giant pasta shells with a three cheese blend and serve it with your choice of homemade alfredo or homemade marinara sauce. We then top it off with mozzarella cheese.
A bottle of Villa Del Borgo Pinot Grigio is a wonderful addition to our Homemade Stuffed Pasta Shells Entree. This Pinot Grigio is round and very easy drinking. It has layers of melon and citrus fruit that makes it perfect for any of our pasta entrees.
All of our Pasta Entrees are served with your choice of soup or salad. They are also served with our Homemade Italian Bread with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Parmesan Cheese. |

Breakfast served Monday thru Saturday
We serve breakfast from 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM, Monday thru Saturday. We offer a wide variety of dishes such as skillets, omelets, various combinations of egg entrees and our famous Breakfast Horseshoe. We can't let you forget that we also make our own batter fresh daily for both our pancakes and our waffles. In addition, we serve french toast, cinnamon rolls, and feature a different muffin daily. You have the option of topping your pancakes, waffle or french toast with blueberries, strawberries, or chocolate chips.

Sunday Brunch Buffet
Our Sunday Brunch Buffet is served 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM every Sunday. We are constantly adding new exciting items to our buffet while continuing to offer all of your favorites like our hand breaded fried chicken, our delicious bone-in ham, and our well prepared roast beef. We also have an 8 foot table of desserts, all of our homemade salads, and our fresh fruit table. All of our buffet items are for your enjoyment for a very reasonable buffet price. |

Trick or Trunk
The Main Hangar Restaurant, The Decatur Airport, and the Decatur Park District would like to invite you to the Decatur Airport on October 31st for our Second Annual Trick or Trunk. Treats will be handed out from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
This will give you and your family an opportunity to enjoy many classic cars that will be on display in the Decatur Airport parking lot. The owners of these classic cars and the employees of the Main Hangar Restaurant will be handing out candy throughout the entire evening. This is a safe and enjoyable way to spend Halloween.
Last years Trick or Trunk was a huge success. This year it is our goal to make a great evening even bigger and better. To do that we need your help. If you would like to volunteer and help hand out candy to the children please contact us at 217-421-7452. We are also now accepting candy donations for this event. If you would like to donate candy to our Trick or Trunk evening then please bring your donation to the Main Hangar Restaurant and ask for a member of management. We would like to thank you in advance for your time and donations.
The Decatur Park District and the Scovill Zoo kick off their Annual Boo at the Zoo on October 16th. This remarkable and safe Scovill Zoo Halloween tradition is always fun for the entire family. Dress up in your favorite costume or come as you are. Hundreds and hundreds of Jack-O-Lanterns will guide you through the zoo and to the treat stations throughout the zoo. A trip to the Scovill Zoo is never complete unless you take a ride on the Fright Night Express and the Endangered Species Carousel.

Language of Lungs Health Fair Do you have breathing problems? Attend this health fair Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Knights of Columbus Hall from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM for indepth information about breathing issues and free health screenings. Activities include: information booths manned by experts, spirometry testing, blood sugar and blood pressure testing and presentations to help you understand and manage your breathing problems. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served. |

American Education Week We are pleased to announce that we will be participating in the Partners in Educations "Three Nights, Three Restaurants, Three Deals, One Great Cause" event to help raise money for programs and events held by the Partners in Education program on Thursday, November 19th. The Partners in Education program will be releasing a flyer that will be available on our website and through-out Macon County.
All you have to do is bring the flyer into the Main Hangar Restaurant on Thursday, November 19th and present it to your server. You will then receive 10% off of your total bill. We will then donate 10% of your total bill to The Partners in Education Program. Again this flyer isn't available at the current time. We will have the flyer for download on our website as soon as it is available. We suggest calling and making your reservations for this day very soon.
Partners In Education (PIE) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1983 to create a partnership between the Decatur Macon County business community and its schools. Governed by a coalition of leaders from business, industry, education, government and community, PIE identifies and implements projects that promote educational excellence in preparing students for the world of work.
Funding for PIE comes from local businesses, foundations and individuals. This support enables staff to provide an ongoing business presence within the education community. Any business person or individual is strongly encouraged to make known their needs and concerns as they relate to education so that the PIE staff can address those areas. School programs and curriculums have been influenced by such input. Active participation by business is what moves and directs this organization. Therefore, in order for the business community to have a constant, motivating force within education, it is imperative that they give of their time and funds to continue to make their views heard and have action taken.
Economic development and quality of life within Macon County is a direct result of excellent education systems. We must always strive to improve, update, create and motivate the system that teaches the workforce of tomorrow. Partners In Education is your organization that serves as a challenging force to move the system forward in our fast paced, technological world. |
