Greetings!
Our weekly newsletter is delayed this week due to an Important announcement we wanted to include.

The Shingle Springs Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce has unveiled our own stimulus package. "Now more than ever our area businesses need the support of the Chamber," exclaimed Al Carrier, the Chamber's 2009 President. "We decided to roll back our membership dues to allow more businesses to take advantage of what our Chamber has to offer."

Membership dues have been cut 25% across the board, and will be rolled back effective January 1, 2009. For example, businesses with up to 10 employees will now pay $148 annually. Those members who have already paid their 2009 dues will be offered a credit on their 2010 dues.

"We understand how closely businesses need to watch their bottom line," explained Carrier. "But at the same time the services that the Shingle Springs Cameron Park Chamber provides are invaluable to small businesses. This is probably the most cost-effective form of advertising a business can do. While we acknowledge that the current economy has affected the chamber too, we will be more affective with a stronger membership."

The Shingle Springs Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce is continuing on with valuable benefits to its members, including a Biz Walk on May 27 and a Capital Improvement Seminar on June 18.

Remember, your business may also earn a $25 credit for referring a new member who joins the Chamber. Our new Membership Application is available on our website.
