                       September 2012
Greetings!

Last Friday, my father, Jack Driscoll, had the honor of being among the four distinguished Boston University Chemistry Alumni to speak at BU Alumni weekend about their chemistry careers. Each professor chose a former student to share their accomplishments since graduating from BU. These chemistry-related jobs included: private industry entrepreneur, patent attorney, new drug-discovery R&D and a University-based research group. Symposium organizer, Professor Larry Ziegler, Chair, BU Department of Chemistry said that the goal of the BU Alumni Chemistry Symposium is to help establish longer lasting relationships with chemistry alumni.
I'm off to Rochester, NY next week for the Northeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. I have organized and am presiding over three half day sessions for the ACS Division of Small Chemical Businesses. Additionally I am conducting a workshop titled: Demystifying Social Media
