Greetings!

In this August News Edition we've returned from "Boston Proper" where we participated in and exhibited at The American Chemical Society National Show (ACS) at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center on August 22-26.

As an ACS member and volunteer I served as Team Facilitator on the Sustainability Engagement Event Action Group 7 whose mission was to create a positive buzz about chemistry and sustainability practies using social media. As the Team Facilitator, I had the opportunity to present our project at the ACS National Meeting to the ACS Committee on Public Relations and Communications. The project was well received and I expect to remain involved at this critical time in the scientific industry where we can all be "Chemistry Ambassadors" and participate in the International Year of Chemistry both in our work lives and in our communities.

Our compact water quality
analyzer generated a considerable amount  of  interest from the ACS attendees. The Model 104 is designed for the detection of up to 7 parameters: pH,
Conductivity, Salinity, Total Dissolved Solids,
Temperature, Dissolved O2 and mV in a single
analyzer.

The Model 104 is extremely easy to
use with its simple keypad for programming. It
has the capacity to measure seven parameters
simultaneously while logging up to 7,000 points of data. The analyzer has both manual and automatic logging and time & data stamps the data. The Analyzer is powered from a rugged Ni  metal hydride battery.
