Greetings!

In this January News Edition we've kicked our PITTCON Planning into high gear! I've just started a GROUP on PITTCONNECT called GC Detectors and we are hoping to fill it up with GC detector users, other GC detector manufacturers and/or related GC detector accessories to create a related symposia for PITTCON 2011. To join this group, go to GC DETECTORS GROUP on PITTCONNECT, create login and profile and join. Start a discussion, post to the blog and be a part of something bigger within our scientific community.

I've included an  exerpt from our techical program at PITTCON and our Product of the Month is the Model 301C.
Our post-sales service and support contact information is listed at the end of this email. Make sure to email me to receive a discount on the service of your 101 or 102 PID.

We are currently signing Domestic and Foreign Distributors.  We are seeking manufacturers reps for our portable & continuous analyzer product line in the following areas: USA Calling East Coast and Mid-West reps; we need your expertise to help us with demands in your territory.  INTERNATIONAL 1. Japan 2.Italy. The products include continuous VOC analyzers, process gas chromatographs, oxygen analyzers (low ppm to 100%), hydrogen analyzers. Contact Dr. Jack Driscoll at [email protected] with credentials. We will continue to notify you by email as we sign add new Distributors and Representatives to our team that handle your area.

Presented by Dr. Jack Driscoll

Abstract:  This PID has improved  sensitivity compared  to an FID. It is 200  times more sensitive for aromatics, 80 times more sensitive  for olefins, and 30 times more sensitive for alkanes > C6
Mechanical, chromatographic, electronic & software-results: improved detection limits for aromatic compounds from 2 ppb to < 0.5 ppb. The dynamic range was increased from 1 x 107 to 5 x 107, the widest range of any GC detector available.
