Strong Schools, Strong Communities updates
The Board of Education was presented proposed changes to the Strong Schools, Strong Communities strategic plan by Superintendent Valeria Silva. The proposed changes affect Four Seasons A+ Elementary, Open World Learning Community, Creative Arts High School and L'Etoile du Nord - French Immersion. Additionally, the Superintendent clarified the distinction between pathways and articulations. Newly determined Regional Magnet School and Program boundaries were also shared with Board members. First quarter Districtwide discipline report
The Board was received information about first quarter and trend data regarding Districtwide suspension rates. The data will be used in Districtwide efforts, such as Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, to reduce the suspension rates and improve the achievement of students.
