Council of Love's Annual Gathering

We will be at the annual Council of Love's Sedona Gathering!!!! I think it is my 12th annual Council of Love Sedona Gathering and the Excitement is Growing!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't remember being at this level of excitement in some time!!!!! Linda Dillon, Marianne Baer and I will be presenting a segment on Saturday entitled WILDERNESS OF THE SOUL. In the afternoon, we will all go out into the red rocks of Sedona and not just go from point a to point b in our natural surroundings, but instead you will be able to choose from a variety of "inquiries" that will help you to more fully understand the role of the natural world in unfolding you into greater healing, evolution and your soul destiny role. Even if you never choose to take a step into a truly wild area, don't think for a minute that the Wilderness of the Soul does not apply to you. Interacting with natural surroundings to help us to get closer to Creator has historically been the way that spiritual seekers have grown in consciousness. For at least 40 centuries, human beings in all parts of the world have retreated to wild places to get re-centered. Think of seers meditating in caves in the Himalayans, Jesus in the desert and St. Francis surrounded by forest and birds.

Perhaps you may think that you know where you are on the earth and that you may not need a compass to "find yourself." But do you REALLY know where you are? Do you know where you are in relation to galaxies and universes? Recent earth shifts have helped us to see that we have literally been lost and the shifts are creating opportunities for us to have greater clarity than historically has been possible.

At the Sedona Gathering we will learn about how treks into natural areas can reveal a great deal about our specific soul destiny path and bring a subtle recognition of what not only blocks us from our truths, but also help us to see how journeys can accelerate the cycles of birth, growth, change, chaos, breaking down, death and birth again.

We will explore 8 different aspects of the wilderness journey as a metaphor for self reflection:

1. Purification (just by being in nature we begin to purify)

2. Refined Awareness (subtle natural sounds, smells, colors etc. can bring us to a place where we can balance our chakras and become aware of the non-physical realms like the devas of the flowers and the nature spirits).

3. Solitude

4. Getting Lost (Losing ourself - literally letting go of what we no longer need)

5. Pulling out all the Stops (attempting to push to the edge to find ourselves)

6. Getting Found (resetting our compass)

7. Recommitting to Our Passions

8. Revealing the Soul

On Saturday afternoon we will have an opportunity to be in solitude in nature at the red rocks of Sedona! You will be able to choose from over a dozen "inquiries" like making an altar for Pan, building a house for a nature spirit from rocks, small branches and flowers, finding a metaphorical gateway that helps you experience a different dimension, look for cycles of birth, growth, change etc. and write about them or become the element that you most need in your own life force field.

Hi Everyone!! Today I was in the garden gathering seeds from the spent flower heads for next years planting. It has been a profoundly abundant year. Also writing a lot about wilderness and preparing for Linda Dillon's Council of Love Conference in Sedona.
