Participants of the series come see us at the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Expo at RiverCenter in Saint Paul October 5-6 and can pick up your participant shirt and finisher's medal.  If you haven't taken part in the series, stop by anyway and check this monster medal out!

On Saturday, October 6th, participants will put on their FoxSox performance socks and run or walk 5K in the Second Annual Red Heel Run. 

Early registration for the 5k Red Heel Run is due October 5 to reserve your spot and free socks. Late registration and same-day sign-up will be accepted. Last year more than 120 people participated in the inaugural Red Heel Run in 2011 with John Krebsbach, 24, of St. Ansgar, Iowa placed first with a time of 19.07.

 

The 5K course through beautiful North Iowa around the town of Osage will kick off at the Cedar River Complex Event Center on the Mitchell County Fairgrounds located at 1006 Chestnut Street, Osage, Iowa 50461.

Join the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota (LFM) for our Second Annual Lupus Walk for Hope and 5K Run - Duluth.

LFM has a 35+ year history of funding lupus research and a portion of event proceeds will also fund services provided to lupus patients throughout Minnesota and beyond. LFM works to improve the quality of life for people affected by lupus through support groups, trainings, education, resource referrals, and individual case management. Duluth Lupus This annual fundraiser features a 5K run ($25; $30 event-day) - open to runners or walkers - as well as an approximately 1-mile walk (free). The 2nd Annual Scenic Byway Half Marathon & 5K gets underway Saturday, October 13, in an effort to continue supporting clean-up efforts of a 61 acre site on the banks of the Minnesota River Valley along the northern edge of Belle Plaine, Minnesota. 

 

The races start at Court Square Park in Belle Plaine and continue along the Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway Loop.

Both the half marathon and 5K courses are USATF certified and chip-timed, making this inaugural race a great, competitive running opportunity among the peak-of-harvest beauty along the Minnesota River Valley.  Sport Tek Dry Fit shirts for all participants.  Custom medals for all half marathon participants. Race day registration and packet pick up will open at 7:30 am at the park.  More information is online here.

Boo Run Run

The 3rd Annual "Boo Run Run Run" will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Harriet Island (200 Doctor Justus Ohage Blvd., St. Paul) on the beautiful Mississippi River in St. Paul, MN.  This is a certified 5K Run/Walk with chip timing and Kids Run sponsored by Community Neighborhood Housing Services (CNHS).    The Kids Run will be at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:45a.m.  Costumes, dogs and strollers encouraged and welcome.  Prizes will be given for best costumes for males and females.  Each participant receives a "boo'tiful" T Shirt.  Entry fees are $25.00 in advance for adults and $10.00 for kids 12 and under.  Race day Adults are $30.00 and Kids under 12 are $15.00.  You can register online at active.com or  www.CommunityNHS.org.

The Dream Mile is the flagship event in Vibha's continued efforts to increase awareness about the plight of underprivileged children.
