Join us for the inaugural Rochester Get Your Rear in Gear 5K run/walk for Colorectal Cancer Awareness! This first time event will include a chip timed 5K Run, 5K Walk and Kids Fun Run. The course will begin and end at the MayoCivicCenter and will take the trail system around SilverLake and back. The event raises money for colon cancer awareness, support and research. Race entry is $25 for pre-registration and $30 on race day for adults; $12 pre-registration and $15 day of for Kids age 10 and under.  MN Timberwolves Run With The Wolves, April 5, LakeHarriet, Minneapolis, MN
Join us for this first year of fun at LakeHarriet on April 5th! Timberwolves mascot Crunch and Timberwolves Dancers will be on site for pictures and autographs. The first annual Run with the Wolves will raise money for the Timberwolves Fast Break Foundation, benefiting various organizations throughout Minnesota. All participants get a free t-shirt and ticket to the April 6th Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies game. Kid's race starts at 8:45am and 5K starts at 9:00am.  Minneapolis Recycle Run, Sunday, April 20, Lake Harriet, Minneapolis, MN
Burn some of that pent-up winter energy and give back to the environment in the Minneapolis Recycle Run around Lake Harriet on Sunday, April 20. The event features a 5K Walk/Run and a Kids' Half-Mile Run. Presented by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) and the City of Minneapolis, proceeds from the Recycle Run will benefit future Minneapolis Earth Day Watershed Clean-Up efforts. The first 500 pre-registered participants will receive a FREE ticket to a Minnesota Twins game. Additionally, pre-participants are guaranteed a Performance T-shirt and Water Bottle for helping support this important cause. This great third year relay event is made up of teams of 12 members running distances from 3-8 miles per leg. This is one of the most beautiful race courses in the Midwest and is sure to be a great team building activity for co-workers, running teams or families.
