Lobster DinnerYankee Magazine features the Hawthorne Inn

We are still receiving much positive feed back on our feature article in the May/ June 2008 issue of Yankee Magazine. The five page article is a wonderful testimonial to our 32 years of Innkeeping. This well crafted and beautifully photographed piece explores the Innkeeping lifestyle. It also delves into our personal lives and  how we have drawn upon  the Hawthorne Inn as a wellspring for nurturing our varied endeavors and as a haven for our family, friends  and guests.

You can read the web version of  the article, Home at the Hawthorne Inn.

Perhaps you would like the secret to our Award Winning (truly, not figuratively)  "Hickory-Dickory-Bosc", featuring Bosc pears stewed in Shagbark Hickory syrup.  In national competition our original dish was a stand-out among entries from the finest Inns across the country.

Sky dogSky, the Inn dog, is a Rising Star.

Many of you remember Sky's winning personality and her keen ability to get anyone and everyone to play with her; be it to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. Well, Sky has been "discovered". The Dog Travel Channel has just completed filming Sky as the central personality for a travelogue on Concord. Sky took the film-makers on a lovely tour of the town, including a quick swim in the Concord River by the Old North Bridge. Sometime soon the  5 minute piece will be edited and available for your entertainment at www.DogTravelchannel.com.
