Transpromotional Marketing...  more than Buzzwords

The continuous flow and multiple deliveries of transactional, regulatory and marketing messages to your customers can put a strain on your budget

and possibly your customer satisfaction levels. Using monthly statements to deliver important notices about their accounts, changes in their services, new product releases and improvements lets you brings multiple departments into a single communication channel.

The most common method used today is combining multiple communications into a single envelope for traditional, physical delivery through the USPS. This has the impact of increasing the value of postal spend, but material costs remain high. In addition, the impact on customer satisfaction could be positive or negative, depending on the customer. There is also a missed opportunity to deliver those messages to the growing number of customers receiving their communications through digital channels.

GLDS is happy to announce that we've entered into a long-term billing and provisioning agreement with Wave Broadband.  Wave Broadband's parent company, WaveDivision Holdings is a leading MSO based in Kirkland, WA, serving over 300,000 customers in the Seattle, Portland, Sacramento and San Francisco DMAs.  Wave Broadband has been serving its customers using GLDS' WinCable® subscriber management and billing system since 2003.      

"We've been quite satisfied with the GLDS relationship," says Wave Broadband's COO Steve Friedman.  "We've experienced significant company growth and GLDS has been a strong and cost-effective partner for us along the way.  They've remained responsive to our needs and continue to provide support for our operational strategy."  Friedman is also the Chairman of the American Cable Association.

In keeping with its long-term plan for management continuity, Garrick Russell has
been named President and COO of the company.  Garrick has served as V.P. of Operations at GLDS for the past four years, in preparation for this eventual promotion.  During that time, he has been responsible for day-to-day operations of the company, using his sixteen years of broadband billing and provisioning experience to help achieve steady growth for GLDS.

Founder Lon Rosado will continue as Chairman of the GLDS Board of Directors, with Laura Rosado sharing the CEO role.  GLDS has had a management succession plan in place for several years, designed to ensure the long-term security of its customers, products, and employees.  Please join us in congratulating Garrick on his new position!
