GLDS Welcomes Four New Customers From Canada

GLDS has recently converted four new Canadian operators including Switch in Edmonton, AB, South Island Cable in Port Renfrew, BC, Seaview Communications in Calgary, AB and FCNQ in Bai D'Urfe, QC. From Edmonton, Switch has been involved in the commercial television market since 2003 and has been involved in many of the larger oil & gas commercial television installations across western Canada.
"WinCable simply made sense for us. It does everything we want it to do and more, yet it was the most cost-effective billing option we could find," said Switch President Darren Hokanson. "The Window's-based software was easy to install and the transition was smooth, allowing us to be productive in no time at all."

Better Receipt Printing For Your Subscribers

Beginning with version 1.103.12, WinCable now has the ability to set a global printer name for receipt printing with no limitation as to the printer's port (com, lpt, tcp/ip, dot, etc...).
WinCable can use a local receipt printer through Terminal or Citrix server by addressing the printer by name. This increases the printer support available from WinCable and increases the ease of use for printing in general.
In addition, we've added native support for USB printers which means no more port re-mapping and no more serial printers.
