GLDS Announces ARU Subscriber Self-Refresh

WinCable Release 1.103.9 includes an "Addressability Subscriber Self-Refresh" feature for all sites that currently have the ARU "Box Hit" option.  Once you're on the right WinCable release, simply enable the new menu option, which is found on the main ARU Schema tree. The option allows customers to perform a self-refresh on all addressable equipment and services on their account. This function triggers the "Refresh Subscriber" action identical to that Addressable Command found on the Equipment Screen. Upon execution, a corresponding record will be created in the Subscriber's Completed Work Order List.  Another example of GLDS responding to user requests!
IMPORTANT NOTICE for 3 Message Statement

The position of the return address on the three message statement has been moved 1/2 inch to the left and reduced from font size 10 to font size 8 in WinCable Version 1.103.9.0.  The position was altered in order to accommodate several sites that were experiencing problems with bills that were being delivered to the return address instead of the subscriber's bill-to-address.  Please be certain to print some samples prior to printing all bills in case adjustments are necessary.

GLDS Sees Third Year in Top 100

For the third straight year, GLDS has been named one of the industry's top 100 companies by Broadband Properties Magazine - the only billing and subscriber management company to receive that designation.
BBP Top 100 2010 2
Why did Broadband Properties pick GLDS?  They were looking for companies they felt helped others deploy networks by supplying key software, and offering innovative solutions for the industry.

We're proud to have been recognized and are committed to providing operators with great products, great service and great value.
PCI Compliance Update

GLDS has been hard at work for more than a year readying a PCI compliant release of WinCable.  The culmination of that effort was the PADSS certification of WinCable release 1.104.1, in early September.  Next step for this release is some time in QA and then on to a beta customer.  Assuming all goes well, GLDS expects to have a PADSS-compliant release of WinCable by the end of the year.
