Wave7 FTTH Integration Complete

We're pleased to announce the completion of the integration between WinCable and Enablence's (Wave7) Trident7™ Element Management System.  The combined solution will be deployed at Tullahoma Utilities Board (TUB) and will provide complete service delivery control of voice, video and data services, across Tullahoma's FTTH network, directly from the billing system.

Based in Tullahoma, TN, TUB offers advanced triple-play services to its customers via Enablence's Trident7™ Universal Access Platform.

The new billing system integration eliminates the need for multiple disparate systems, and allows operators to manage their Trident7 FTTP network without additional mediation or provisioning layers.  Direct provisioning from the billing system will allow TUB to manage triple-play service delivery more efficiently, minimize revenue loss, and ensure a higher level of customer satisfaction.

"The ability to control the Trident7 platform with flow-through provisioning was a critical part of this project.  We weren't going to be able to launch without it," according to Brian Skelton, General Manager at TUB. "WinCable offered us the tools we needed to manage customer service, provisioning, and billing - every aspect of the complete service delivery cycle."

Given the migration to FTTX within traditional and new video markets, and the prominence of Enablence in both, GLDS understands the strategic importance of this integration.  We have several customers already offering FTTX, and we expect many of them will see an immediate benefit from this relationship.

New "Work Scheduling" Class

GLDS is pleased to offer individual classes designed to help operators maximize the effectiveness of the WinCable Work Scheduling module.  These 2-hour classes are designed to provide a deeper understanding of WinCable functionality and to maximize it to meet the needs of your organization.

Unlike other GLDS classes where many operators attend, this class will focus on only one operator per session and will offer one-on-one consultation to address your specific system.  We'll bring an agenda and educate you from top to bottom, or bring your own and tailor the class to meet your needs.

"Thanks for the Work Scheduling class.  The format was perfect for our needs.  With your help we were able to solve some specific problems."  Lee Mobley, Wave Broadband.

Contact us to find out more about this class, or click to register for the next available session.  Because we work with only one company at a time, space is limited - register today.

Need A Reason?

GLDS users should periodically review Activate, Inactivate, Change of Service, and Service Call reason codes to ensure accuracy and provide meaningful marketing information from WinCable.  Two of the designed reports used for reporting reason codes are:

Added Packages - subscriber name, address, account number, and phone number with the package that was added or dropped and the reason code for the change.  Selection criteria of franchise, account, include package, add reason, add date, drop reason, and current sub status.  Exportable format.

Completed Work with Packages and Summary - subscriber name, address, phone number, current packages, management area, sales area, and completed work details.  Selection criteria of completed work with sort and two  summaries.  Will show summary by reason code as well as summary by whatever you defined in the report criteria.
