The Red Lion Inn
If you drive through Brick, be sure to stop in at The Red Lion Inn - it has been a landmark and favorite dining establishment for area residents and travelers for many years.
Whether you want to grab a steak and a beer, listen to some local rock bands or just watch some football, Bottazzi's Red Lion Tavern is the ideal place to grab some R&R in Brick. Stop in and watch a variety of sports on the bar's 12 televisions (it carries the full NFL package in the fall), or order in from their fabulous takeout menu.
They now offer on and off premise catering - you must try their antipasto salad. It was created by Grandma Bottazzi and has been enjoyed by families for generations. It is prepared with fresh vegetables, meat, cheese and our house dressing. They are proud to present it to you - family style - with all of their fabulous dinner entrees.

Greetings!
I think it goes without saying that most of us would rather be poolside, at the beach our enjoying a family BBQ rather than working, completing Honey-Do lists or even food shopping. We might not be able to forego work, or even the Honey-Do lists BUT thanks to JM Client, WSW Delivery, we can forego some of the food shopping! Recently JM helped WSW Delivery develop and print their new catalog as they were expanding their product line. They have gone from carrying hundreds of food, drinks and household items to thousands. Just think, rather than have to wait on some long line, or drag the kids from the pool kicking and screaming, you can simply log on to their website and order your water, Gatorade, snacks and even baby and dog supplies and have it delivered right to your door. If you are not computer savvy you can call to order - just be sure to request a catalog. There is more to this story, so make sure you read below and be sure to visit their brand new website! (PS the JM contest this summer can win you $50 for WSW - see the image to the left) In addition to great shopping, we also have a fabulous story about our JMPrintit Bank member, Downey Side Adoption Agency. The story of this organizations inception is one to be remembered. The idea that one individual could have such a great impact on society is absolutely inspiring. Downey Side to date has helped find homes for almost 6,000 "Waiting Children". If you haven't already designated a JMPrintit Bank member to receive 5% from your invoices, please consider doing so. Earth Treasures of Eatontown had designated Downey Side a little over a year ago and to date Downey Side has received over $300 in JMPrintit Bank Bucks. This money helps offset their yearly printing costs (i.e. ad journals, letterhead, envelopes, forms, etc.). If you read further on, we also have a great article by Mary Trainor, a Shaklee representative. Mary shares her journey to wellness with us as she teaches us about the importance of a "Green Kitchen" and how Shaklee products have changed her life. Don't miss out on the Destination this month - we are taking you to the Red Lion Inn in Brick. Owned by the Bottazzi family since 1977, this is a landmark dining establishment and it shouldn't be missed! Please feel free to look over the upcoming Chamber events included below as well as the upcoming JMPrintit Bank Member events. Supporting local non profits and attending networking events is great for business! Enjoy the rest of your summer, and please remember that we are always here to help with your print, promotional and design needs. Yours Truly, Kat |

JM Client Spotlight
Just as evolution is the key to human survival - it is also the key to any business' survival. A business must adapt and be creative if they are to keep themselves in front of the competition. Companies will develop new strategies, update equipment or even add/change their product line.
A perfect example of this type of adaptation is WSW Delivery. Once known as Watchung Spring Water, it began as a water delivery service in 1903, and today they not only deliver water, but also coffee and warehouse club products.
A couple of years ago, owner, Andrew Berliner responded to his customers needs. After speaking with several clients, he found that many people just did not have time to go shopping. Or they disliked the long lines and traffic and preferred not to have to go out in bad weather.
Already having a fleet of trucks making daily deliveries, it seemed natural to Andrew to add non-perishable items to his companies répétiteur. In 2008, Watchung Spring Water added hundreds of items to their product line including toilet tissue, pet food, baby diapers, peanut butter and snacks. A couple of months ago, they asked JM to help develop and print their new catalog as they were expanding and re-branding as WSW. Now in 2010 they have gone from carrying hundreds of warehouse club products to thousands.

JMPrintit Bank Member Profile
Downey Side Adoption Agency
Pictured Above is the Lopez Family who adopted William. |
About forty-four years ago a young man walked into the Capuchin Friary in Springfield, Massachusetts and asked to join the order. Brian was 17 years old and living on his own. He could not attend school because he needed to pay rent and support himself. Fr. Paul Engel, a young Capuchin Friar, counseled the teen and found a teacher in the parish who agreed to provide the boy with a place to live while he finished school. Eventually, Brian and the teacher became a loving family and the homeless teen found a home.
Pictured above is the McNamara Family who adopted Ryan. |
Thus began what has become Fr. Paul's lifelong devotion - finding families for children who are without parents and living within a social service system. Downey Side, named after the woman who opened her heart and home to a lonely teenager many years ago, has grown into an adoption organization that, over the years, has found loving families and nurturing homes for almost 6,000 - "Waiting Children."

How "Green" Is Your Kitchen?
Hello! My name is Mary Trainor. I am hoping to share my story of how discovering the answer to this question may have literally brought my breath back again. Please allow me to share my journey to wellness with you.
I am a Special Education Teacher and a Health and Wellness Educator with the Shaklee Corporation, the number one Natural Health and Wellness company in the US. I must admit I never thought much about whether my kitchen, or any part of my home, for that matter was green. Not until, in my forties I became an allergy induced asthmatic, brought on largely by my sensitivity to environmental toxins, primarily in my own home. Then this question and the question of: am I living in a toxic home? began to have very real meaning for me. I began to research asthma and the connections everyday cleaning products had on my health. What I discovered was that the result of toxic chemicals from everyday household cleaning products accumulate in the air that we breathe in our homes. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency has stated that the air inside our homes if often more polluted than in Los Angeles or New York on a smoggy day. No wonder I began noticing more and more of the school age children I serviced were developing asthma and other diseases associated with the respiratory tract and also having many issues with staying focused at school. Wow! What many of us are cleaning our homes with could very well be making us sick! What a rude awakening!
