Above and Beyond
On Thursday, December 9, Fairview Park Ctiy School District Superintendent Brion Deitsch surprised Fairview High School Building Principal Chris Vicha with an Above and Beyond Award.
"Mr. Vicha received the award due to his continued support and the willingness to step in and lead the students and staff through challenging times at FHS," said FPCS Superintendent Brion Deitsch. "It is a tribute to receive this award because employees are nominated by their peers."
Since the students and staff will be out for winter break during the next school board meeting, the superintendent thought it best to surprise Mr. Vicha while he was working with a group of students and staff members.
All Above and Beyond Award recipients are nominated by their peers.
