An Apostolic Approach

|
It has now been several weeks since I returned from 21 days overseas in Ukraine. We ministered in 44 services while there. Services varied in length from 2.5 hours to 8 hours - but in all of them God's presence and power was very evident and He truly blessed and changed many lives ... including mine!
We also held numerous other meetings. After every service (and between services - 3 on the average day) we met as a team with the pastor of the church for debriefing from the service that had just ended as well as planning for the service that was shortly going to begin. We also had many meetings either before the services began or after they had ended - meetings of the team members, meetings with pastors whose churches we were ministering in or leaders and pastors who simply needed our help and input into their current situations back in their home churches. I estimate that we were involved in well over 75 of these types of meetings during the 18 days of actual ministry.
My current plans are to return in June of this year for two weeks to work with several local churches where we have been invited and have yet to minister. So, for our ministry it will be a fresh opportunity to minister and impact lives for the Kingdom. I will be making this trip by myself and picking up my team members in Ukraine as there are many young apostles in that nation willing to work with me and receive further training. Then in August I will return to minister at a country-wide youth camp accompanied by my son-in-law from our local church here in this city. Already we have invitations from a number of other countries as well as other places within the country of Ukraine and so future plans and trips are already being discussed. We would appreciate your prayers as this planning is currently on-going.
Our ministry schedules are posted on-line a number of months in advance and if we are ministering in your area we would love to have you attend and make yourself known to us. Always good to see friends of this ministry.
Our radio program - THE POINT - has begun broadcasting twice a week (Fridays and Sundays). Initial discussions have begun to work through what it will take to enter into a daily format for the program by late fall of this year. We have made some technological changes and purchased some new equipment to enable this and make it a distinct possibility. This will also allow us to do several of the programs each week "live" with a phone-in format. As well, several new Christian stations have begun broadcasting in our province and so negotiations have begun to see if these new broadcast outlets might air our show in their areas. Again, God has supplied all the needs for this media outreach of Ralph Howe Ministries.
Our web site is now designed to handle any inquires we have from the Russian-speaking world. We have added several part-time staff members overseas to help us with the translation of emails and other correspondence. As well, we have begun to write training material for the generation of young apostles and prophets arising in Eastern Europe and we are having this material translated into Russian and sent out electronically to an ever-growing list of five-fold ministers in many nations. As well, several of my teaching manuals are going to be translated into Russian as I have had several requests to teach a number of the seminars I have been teaching in North America for years. We have recently received an offer from the nation of Russia to work on the translation of the books that I am currently writing (to fulfill a prophetic word I have received a number of times regarding just that - the writing of books). So, as each one nears completion we will begin to translate and print a Russian edition of the material. Of course, we are excited about the possible impact this will allow Ralph Howe Ministries to have in many nations where Russian is the working language of the people.
We most certainly covet your prayers for all that is going on in both our North American office as well as in our overseas office. We depend on the Lord for the wisdom to do all He has called us to do as well as the strength to do it. Our team would also benefit from your prayers during this time - especially with the addition of several new team (staff) members and the adjustments that we are all making. As well, pray that all the needs would be met - added staff salaries, costs of new computers for our overseas workers, phone connections in Ukraine and general operating expenses for daily interpretation work and long-term translation of teaching and training material. These are exciting times for Ralph Howe Ministries and everyone involved as we step out in faith and trust the Lord more and more.

CHARACTER - THE BASIS OF A PROPHETIC TEAM PART 2

In our last article in March 5th's e-newsletter we wrote on what to
look for in the lives of people called into the ministry offices of
apostles and prophets when putting a team together to minister and
plant churches. We saw that character is most important and that the
Bible sets out what it is we are to look for in this area of a person's
life. We saw that the potential team member needs to be:
- Honest and transparent
- A person with pure motives
- Upright
- A God pleaser
- Not greedy

 Prophecy For A Local Church
In my last 'Prophetic Insight' article I mentioned that ... "Recently
I was in a local church and received nothing ahead of time - in spite
of a concentrated time (in my hotel room the night before) of focusing
on the church and the ministry to happen the next morning. I received
nothing in advance. Then, at the service, I received nothing. It took
three days after the event before I understood why - but that is
another issue I will address in another 'Prophetic Insight.' "

A Typical Day
It is Monday afternoon and I am on the road and
have a few minutes to think and to ponder. Already today I have been
dealing with some concerns that have arisen in Ukraine - resources that
were mailed months ago and "gone missing" and the struggle to find
them; funds that have been transferred by wire and have not arrived
after a week and declared "missing in action (transit)" which is a new
one for me; prayer for Miroslav who handles the Ukraine side of my
ministry as he travels to the country of Moldova to teach in a
Christian institute and preach in two different churches.
Locally - issues with my web page; blogs written
for immediate posting; material written for a Network that I work with
here and their new e-newsletter with it's first edition about to be
released to almost a hundred churches and ministries; a request to meet
with someone who was part of this church many years ago (and whom we
have not heard from since he left) and who is now in touch again
because he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is looking to
meet so I can lay hands on him and pray for his healing...
