 The edition of this enewsletter is late thanks to Hurricane Ike which turned the lights out in more than Texas. Ohio - where this enewsletter is put together after I write it - was also hard hit by the winds and was without power as I write this three days after the storm. You will be receiving this edition of the enewsletter after the "lights came back on in Georgia" (I couldn't resist it!)
Our new radio program THE POINT has been receiving good reviews. We appreciate all the feedback we have had with regard to the show which started broadcasting on the 14th of this month. Production continues on new editions of the show as we need to be far enough ahead to cover the weeks I am either out of the office (partly converted to a recording studio) or out of the country. Your continued prayers for this new venture would be greatly appreciated.
In the very near future you will be able to listen to previously broadcast programs (and even download them as MP3s) on our main web site. Listening will be free. Downloading will cost you a $3.00 donation to our Missions funds through PayPal - also located on the site. This money goes to help support the ongoing work of this ministry in Ukraine and other nations.
I hope you will take the time to read over the various articles and prophetic words contained in this enewsletter. Your feedback is always appreciated. We have some tremendous resources in our on-line store - the proceeds of this venture also currently go to support missions overseas.
In October I will be ministering in Calgary, Alberta (the 2nd to 4th) and in Woodlands, California at a great church pastored by Jeff Bills (the 15th to the 20th). In November (the 6th to 21st) I will be ministering in Ukraine (in 2 cities). I would appreciate your prayer support for these ministry trips.

The Priesthood of Every Believer

Every born again believer is to be a minister of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ representing the
Kingdom of Light in the domain of darkness (2 Corinthians 5:20 and
Colossians 1:13).
The ministry of the apostle, along with the other five-fold ministry
team members (Ephesians 4:11) is to equip the saints for the work of
service (ministry) that they are personally called to accomplish.

Prophetic Insights ... By Ralph Howe

 Imminent Change
My sense from the Lord recently is that He is moving upon His Church to
make some major adjustments. These changes will be many and very
foundational. As a result of changing the foundation He will be
literally changing the look of the Church and the dynamic of life
within His Church worldwide.
He will be removing things that are held in high regard - close to
sacred - and replacing them with a single focus that is His heart. He
will be removing those things which we hold close to our hearts to
replace them with THE thing that is on His heart. This is a time,
similar to the time of Jeremiah when the Lord was tearing down and
uprooting before a time of building and planting (Jeremiah 1:10).
This will be accomplished by the Holy Spirit moving upon His Church
with godly sorrow for the sins we have committed and for the way we
have settled for "all right" but have not pursued His best with
passion. We have settled for lukewarmness and have been neither hot or
cold. The Church will be led to a place of repentance for having
followed her own plans and not adhering to or following the voice of
the Lord. We have left our "first love" (Revelation 2:4) and have
pursued after other lovers - revival, renewal, miracles, signs and
wonders, healing, prophetic revelation, dreams and visions, and the
'something new'.

A great book for those called into the prophetic ministry or to the
role and office of a prophet - full-time or part-time. Also a great
resource manual for those called to minister to those who are
prophetic.
The book is well organized and well written (as are all R. Loren
Sandford books). This book is broken into three parts - "Foundations",
"Hearing God" and "Training and Placement".
