 These are exciting times for our ministry. Our new radio program THE POINT is about to start broadcasting on the 14th of September. A half hour weekly Bible teaching program - it will air on Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. You can listen to on the web at www.1005therock.ca. It is also available in the province of Saskatchewan on Channel 839 on SaskTel Max Cable Network. If you miss it you can find the current and previous programs on our web site at www.ralphhoweministries.com
We are also pleased to announce the release of four new teachings. Each teaching has been produced as a DVD so that you can watch while you listen. The new titles are:
"True Spiritual Authority" (what it is and how you can receive it and walk in it); "Take a Mulligan" (explaining God's grace and how He always offers us another opportunity if we mess the current one up); "Think Globally - Act Locally" (presenting the desperate need to be sharing the gospel worldwide and seeing sinners saved and how you can become involved in this great adventure); as well as "The Simple Gospel" (a great, in-depth look at John 3:16 and how to use it to share the Gospel with loved ones and friends). Have a look in our on-line store for these new products.
As well, in the next three months, along with my regular responsibilities, I will be ministering in Wolseley, Saskatchewan (September 13 and 14); Calgary (October 2-4); Woodland, California (October 15 to 20); and both Boyarka and Krasnoarmeysk, Ukraine (November 6 to 21). If we are going to be in your area - please check our on-line calendar for our location and plan to attend. Our schedule for December 2008 and into 2009 is being mapped out currently and will be available on-line shortly.
Due to the increase in my writing and teaching ministry we have just increased the hours of my personal assistant, Elizabeth Snyder, to full time. She is still the only paid staff member of the ministry (I don't take a salary) and has been a terrific blessing to me personally. The Priesthood of All Believers
|
In the Church today we have the professionals and the amateurs - the
clergy and the people. This is not biblical. And, one of the tasks of
the apostles today is to make the Church aware of this wrong foundation
and to equip and release the "priesthood of all believers".
The desire of every apostle should be to equip (katartismos) the people
of God to do the work of the ministry. The task of the apostle today
(along with the complete five-fold ministry team) is to raise up, equip
and release the people of God to do the work of the ministry - to
become the priesthood of all believers that Peter talks about in his
letters.

RADICAL REVOLUTIONARIES
A Change in Focus Part 2
(This is a continuation of the "prophetic sense" that I began sharing in our last e-newsletter. You can read that article by clicking here. )
There is arising in the Kingdom what is sometimes referred to as the
Benjamin Generation. (Some refer to it as the Joshua Generation). This
is a generation of youth who will lead a radical revolution within the
Church which will overflow into society eventually impacting the whole
planet.
This radical revolution will begin in their own lives and will involve
a deep, penetrating repentance for sin. This radical repentance will
come from the very depth of their souls and will be so immediately
life-changing that it will revolutionize their lives - marking them
forever as Radical Revolutionaries. It will be accomplished without
hype or excessive emotion and will permanently mark those involved as
being set apart for the Lord and the work of the Last Days Church.

So, You Want Revival
If Jesus is Lord as well as Savior in a person's life - and I don't
see in the Bible where He can be one without being the other - If Jesus is Lord and Savior then He should be involved in every aspect of our life.
The problem today is that many Christians have compartimentalized their lives.
Their life is like an apple pie with the whole pie cut into 8 pieces.
We have a piece marked finances, another sex, a third family, a forth
leisure activity, a fifth - our work situation, sixth - family, the
seventh piece is friends and the eight is Jesus. Jesus gets a slice of
the believers life but does not touch the other seven or more areas
that are involved in a normal person's life .. not even the two that
His slice of life borders.
