| Greetings!
|
Just back from a great four day ministry trip to Calgary working alongside Dennis Cramer in an apostolic-prophetic team. A blog of each day's highlights can be found on-line under Blogs/"Ministry Trips/Calgary". There are six entries. We worked with a very young Church plant which has a tremendous future. It is so good to see new churches calling in apostles and prophets to help lay a firm foundation for the new work while it is still young and flexible and in its formative stages.
Dates are finalized for our ministry trip to Ukraine in the fall. We depart on November 6th and return November 22nd. We will minister in two cities - one in the north and one in the south. We will let you know further details as the dates approach. As well, our first of three dates for 2009 has been set . We will be going to Ukraine to minister from June 26th to July 15th, 2009. The team is almost in place for this trip with some young leaders already signed up to go. One spot left open and I believe I know the individual who is to go with us. Two other 2009 trips are being planned and dates will be set shortly and team formation begun.
Plans are well underway for a new venture here at Ralph Howe Ministries. By mid-September Ralph will be broadcasting a weekly half hour radio program on the ministry of the apostle over The Rock 100.5 - a Christian radio station located in Yorkton, SK. This station is available world-wide at www.1005therock.ca. His plan is to work with this program for a few months until the writing, production and broadcasting is running smoothly. Then In January, 2009 the program will move up to three times a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. By July 2009 the hope is to be on air five days a week. Each program will be heard around the world on internet and every half hour program will be archived and available from his web site as well as from the web site of The Rock. They will also be downloadable through podcasts to ipods and cell phones. A combination of music, teaching and interviews this program will be geared to the Christian audience and help to spread the word of what God is doing as He reintroduces the full five-fold ministry to the Church worldwide - especially the ministry of apostles. The concept has been accepted by the Program Manager and now we are writing up the formal proposal as we work towards a contract for air time.
Your prayers for these adventures and all of our many outreaches and ministry opportunities would be greatly appreciated. We are encouraged by your continued interest in our ministry and your encouraging emails and prayer support. Once again, we are here to serve you and the body of Christ in any way that we can. Give our web site a visit on a regular basis as things are constantly changing to help better serve the Body of Christ. And, join in with others around the world on the numerous daily blog postings as we interact together with believers and non-believers. We hope you enjoy the new teaching material in this issue of our e-newsletter and will have a look at the many resources that we have in our on-line bookstore that are available for purchase. As well, if you feel led to donate to any of the upcoming mission trips there is a place to do so on the top right of the home page on the web site.

Foundational and Transitional Apostles
|
Currently in the Church world there are three teachings with respect to
the ministry of an apostle. The first says that the ministry of the
apostle ended after John the Beloved died in Ephesus in 101 C.E. This
is the dispensationalist viewpoint. The second uses the word
"missionary" in place of the word 'apostle'. This is the case in many
born again, main line denominations. It is interesting that other
groups use the word 'missionary' to replace the word 'evangelist'. (

4:11)

A New Addiction For God's People
God is addicted. Addicted to change. Now the Bible tells us that God
does not change - He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is
very emphatic when He states "I am the Lord God and I change not"
(Malachi 3:6).
He is in the business of changing those who come to Him for salvation.
He wants to see ordinary people turned into extraordinary followers of
God.

Apostolic Annotations
|
"God has placed within each person the words of a song and the tune it
is to be sung to. No one else can sing your song and it would be a sin to go to
the grave without the world having heard it. So, become all He wants you to be
and then do all He has called you to do. Let your song be sung and heard by
all."

Irons In The Fire
Ministry can be hazzardous to your spiritual and physical health. Someone once said: "If your output exceeds your input, then your upkeep will be your downfall." And that is very true even today.
Let's state that another way - When you have too
many irons in the fire - you put the fire out. So, if you are at that
point in your life and ministry that you are simply "too busy" then it
is time to take the irons out and re-stoke the fire.
