An Apostolic Approach
Ralph Howe Ministries

|
| Greetings!
|
I want to thank everyone who has written in the past two weeks to encourage me in the ministry here at Ralph Howe Ministries. Your notes and emails have been a tremendous blessing as we launch out into new areas of ministry and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Thanks, as well, to all who have signed up to be part of the upcoming School of Prophecy with my friend Dennis Cramer (May 13 to 15) here in our city. As the location where he taught his first School of Prophecy we are always pleased and honored to have him return to teach us again on the gift of prophecy and the ministry of the apostles and prophets. He is a tremendous blessing to the Church. Details of the School and a number of services open to the public and a Leaders Day can be found on my calendar of events (May 13 to 18). As well, details can be found at www.lifebuildersnetwork.org which is a Network of churches that I serve as one of a number of apostolic and prophetic team members.
By the middle of May we will have a new series of four teachings available for immediate download as MP3s and by the end of May these will be available on CDs as well. The series is a prophetic word to the Church to "GO FORWARD". Just as God spoke to Moses when he was confronted with the Red Sea in front, mountains on either side, and Pharaoh and the Egyptian army fast approaching from behind - He is speaking to us today to "GO FORWARD" and use the authority and power He has already given us to accomplish the mandate of the Church. It is an exciting series of teachings that will encourage you to move into the fullness of God's plan for your life and your local Church.
Our plans for a fall ministry trip to Ukraine are progressing well. To keep up-to-date on the plans simply click on the blog entitled "Ministry Trips". Here you can read all the latest news about current and future plans for ministry in other nations. As well, daily blogs are posted on two other topics - The Apostle and Evangelism and Soul-winning. At the bottom of each blog entry there is a place for your comments so that you can interact with me and others on whatever the topic is for the day. Join us!
We hope and pray that you are blessed by the revelations and insights contained in this latest e-newsletter. Thank you for taking the time to read what the Lord has asked that we share. Please prayerfully consider your role in these Last Days as we reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and lay proper foundations for the life and the work of the Church around the world.
Blessings!
Ralph

An Apostolic People
|
When a ministry team includes an apostle the local church will have the
tendency to be apostolic in nature. The people will share the apostolic
anointing that is upon the founder and apostolic team member. They will
become "sent ones" working on the expansion of the local church,
reaching out in the area of missions, and establishing Kingdom outposts
or new churches for the Lord.
Apostolic people will work with the favour of God, the repect of
their leaders, and the support of the local church. They must strive at
all times to properly represent the local church as well as to reflect
the nature of Christ. They must avoid pride at all costs.

It Is Time Says The Lord
This past few weeks I have become even more excited about being a member
of the Lord's Church and part of His Kingdom. The feeling is that "I
was born for such a time as this". Well, of course I was - God plans
everyone's birth, the time and the season that they are born into, and
the things that He has planned for them to do. But, now I feel it deep
in my gut. I was born for THIS time and THIS season and I am getting
more and more excited about THIS task that I have as an apostle in His
Church.

Apostolic Annotations

"The problem in the Church today is that many have made a choice to accept Jesus as their Saviour (from sin) but have not made a commitment to Him as Lord. This commitment is basic to everything God wants to accomplish in and through the believer today."

Great Reading:
|
Heart Of An Apostle
By Pete Beck Jr.
 Dear reader,
After many years of experience with churches, I observed that the
maturing of the churches in general was being thwarted by the lack of
genuine apostolic and five fold ministry. The book was written to
illustrate the need for genuine apostolic leadership from the heart of
maturity. Most books about apostolic leadership, although good and
helpful, were more or less written from the point of view of
application and performance of ministry rather than from the aspect of
heart.

Pass The Test
The Scripture:
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine
yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus
Christ is in you - unless indeed you fail the test? But I trust that
you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test. (2 Corinthians
13:5-6)
Paul has written this letter to the Christians in the Church at the
city of Corinth. In the letter he has been defending his apostleship.
It seems that some of the believers were questioning the genuineness of
Paul's apostleship. He was their spiritual father (1 Corinthians 4:15)
having led them to the Lord and salvation through grace and faith
(Ephesians 2:8-9); yet they were questioning whether his apostleship
was valid - thinking that maybe, just maybe, he might be a false
apostle. ...

Book Reviews

Heart Of An Apostle By: Pete Beck Jr.
What a treat of a book. A refreshing book in what is becoming a flood
of books on apostles that, at best, are mediocre. This one is worth a
read!
The book is filled with really short, to-the-point chapters. Not a word
wasted. And, the author does not beat around the bush. He is direct,
exact, and extremely honest. At times, it hurts to read the truths that
he is expounding.
