Ralph Howe Ministries An Apostolic Approach
Ralph Howe Ministries
Greetings!
Ralph Howe

We have just ended a blizzard and now, as they clear the roads and the highways reopen, it is between - 45C and - 52C. Slightly colder than we are use to. However, not unexpected as we get at least one of these artic blasts every winter.

However, in spite of the cold winters in my neck of the woods, I admit that I am hooked on seeing Jesus change lives. So, I still stand on my corner on a weekly basis and talk about Him to anyone who will listen. Sharing in my favourite coffee shops also works when it is absolutely too cold to be outside which it is, obviously, right now.

In spite of the cold snap I am currently experiencing, my thoughts have recently turned to the spring and summer which we hope is fast approaching. These seasons are much more conducive to reaching out and sharing Jesus on the street corners and in the parks. And I am ready. I believe that God is calling His Church to be always ready "to give the reason for the hope that we have" (1 Peter 3:15) and let others know about Jesus.

In the past 18 months I have had the honour of personally training almost 200 people in evangelism and soul winning. I am currently training numerous others in a number of churches. God is asking His Church to be ready to share Jesus with those who have yet to meet Him and, in some cases, have yet to even hear about Him. He is calling believers to be focused on the mission (The Great Commission) of the Church - the same mission that our Lord came for - "to seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10)

As God re-establishes the ministry of apostles we will see that the focus of the Church will turn away from many of the current activities, although good in themselves. The Church will become single focused on soulwinning and evangelizing the lost both locally and around the world. All events and activities should have this as their primary purpose. Apostles are the "sent ones" and God is looking for a "sent people" - an apostolic people - who will obey His command to "go into all the world - "

Are you ready? Need training? Looking for other like-minded believers who are out winning the lost? Need encouraging in your soul winning efforts? This is one of the key things an apostolic ministry is all about. So, contact us by sending me an e-mail at Ralph@ralphhoweministries.com Let's begin to connect and talk!

Prophetic Insights ... By Ralph Howe
A New Emphasis A New Emphasis on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

I believe that the Lord is speaking to His Spirit-filled Church about focus. Our focus must be on the primary business of the Church which is to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10). As this was the reason that Jesus came to earth it must then be the reason the Church is still on the earth. We have many programs and activities and, I believe, that the Lord is asking us to look at all of our many activities and programs and honestly appraise them in light of the task we are called to accomplish - the Great Commission as stated very clearly in Matthew 28:18-20. Apostles and Prophets
Apostles and ProphetsGod reintroduced the office and role of the prophet in the late 1970's and throughout the 1980's. Then in the early 1990's He began to reintroduce the role and function of the apostle to the church. As always, there were a few forerunners or pioneers who paved the way. They were known to function in these ministry offices long before the Church, in general, began to note and recognize the work of these five-fold ministers of the Gospel. However, in spite of these major moves of the Holy Spirit, many branches of the Church today still have yet to recognize the ministry of the apostles and prophets.

Apostolic Annotations
"If the business of the Church is not about God's business of winning the lost at all costs, the Church has no business being in business."

Apostles and ProphetsApostles and Prophets, the Foundation of the Church
By: C. Peter Wagner

Readable in one sitting this 140 page book by C. Peter Wagner is an exposition of Ephesians 2:19, 20 "You are - members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone." It is compact and yet comprehensive and gives an excellent biblical understanding of the ministry of apostles and prophets today.
