I often find the little voice in my head lamenting "If I only knew 5 years ago what I know now..." I know, I know, an utterly futile thought, not worthy of the brainpower I expend thinking it.
But I can't help it, every once in a while I'll indulge in the fantasy of going all the way back in time - right after college, maybe - and starting over from scratch, doing everything RIGHT the second time around, sparing myself the mistakes, missteps and massive blunders I've made in my career and in my business.
Since that's impossible, I'm doing the next best thing: gathering the most successful, powerful, ambitious women (and men!) I can find to deliver that kind of learning for you and me to apply going FORWARD at the Women's Success Summit IV. My goal is to extract from this "business elite" the most practical, useful, strategic and tactical lessons for RESULTS. BIG results.
The Summit theme is "RISKY BUSINESS." It's all about taking the plunge, moving beyond obstacles, taking risk and going to the next level. I encourage you (and YES men are welcome too!) to attend, sponsor or partner. It will rock your world.
We're expecting around 700 to 800 of Miami's most ambitious, successful, powerful women because (and yes, I'm boasting here) this Summit's lineup is AMAZING. We're spotlighting our own homegrown talent as well as bringing in some heavy hitters from out of town too. Check it out, you'll be impressed ;)
So back to what I was talking about at the beginning of this email. If I could wave a magic wand and go back in time to course correct, would I do it? Actually, no. Each step (and misstep!) has brought me right here, which is EXACTLY where I want to be, because the last few weeks have become VERY exciting.
I have my first real "author credit" to my name - I wrote Chapter 13 (on Personal Branding) in Ivan Misner's new collaborative guide to "Building The Ultimate Network" - which has made 2 bestseller lists in its first week of release. On top of that, my "Sharpie Picture Story" was featured as a case study of effective visual marketing in David Langton and Anita Campbell's recently released book "Visual Marketing."
Onwards and upwards!!! Are you coming with?
