Hola!

It hasn't always been easy for women to get ahead. Years ago, the traditional business environment generally valued "masculine" skill sets over "feminine" ones. But the command-and-control days of management are over; success is about influence, persuasion, collaboration and communication, so it's no wonder that "The Feminization of Leadership"* is a real thing happening all around us (check out this slideshow).

Despite these advances,
it's still not all rainbows and butterflies (to quote Maroon 5). Many challenges remain.

Enter The Empowered Woman Success Summit coming up (the 3rd one!) May 19th & 20th.

The theme is "ELEVATE YOURSELF, and is geared towards already successful women who want to get to the next level - whether that's more revenues for their business, a promotion at work, a successful career transition, or simply networking with the "right" people.

We encourage you (and YES men are welcome too!) to attend, sponsor or partner, and there's one other thing: we're gathering "The Power 100:
South Florida's 100 Most Influential, Inspiring & Successful Businesswomen" for the Summit Program guide, and would like YOUR introduction to the most influential, amazing businesswomen you know. Just reply to this email, and let us know who you are recommending (with contact info if you have it).

By the way, I'm proud to boast that this Summit's lineup is AMAZING. While we're spotlighting own homegrown winners, we are also bringing in a couple of heavy hitters from out of town too. Check it out, you'll be impressed ;)

PS - If you're interested in getting involved as a sponsor, download the sponsorship deck  or contact Jessica Lurie: (888) 531-3830, jessica@mivistainc.com.

PPS - I'm going to be hosting the social media lounge and speaking at the HUGE BizBash event next week in FTL. If you're in the event industry, you should be there. And if you're there, stop by and say hi!

Woo-hoo!!
